Sixth Supervisory Board Meeting

The ITN S2S-Future project is progressing rapidly, as highlighted during the recent online Supervisory Board and Steering Committee Meeting on October 11, 2023. This meeting provided a platform for deliberations on important aspects of the project, focusing on the ITN S2S-Future Final Conference, Outreach and Vulgarisation of Research Results, Project Legacy, Upcoming Scientific Deliverables, ESR (Early Stage Researcher) Progress, and the Common Budget.

The most important topic addressed was the organisation of the S2S-Future Final Conference, scheduled for July 1-3, 2024, at the University of Rennes, marks a key moment for the project. The event promises to be a convergence of Early Stage Researchers, Beneficiaries, Partners, External Advisory Board members and external participants interested in S2S studies. The conference will feature workshops, guest speakers, and roundtable discussions organized by ESRs, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and showcasing the project's contributions to S2S studies. Key recommendations include active external engagement, effective workshop management, and a focus on tangible outcomes. The goal is to make this conference the most appealing S2S event in 2024, ensuring a lasting impact on the scientific community.
