Third Supervisory Board Meeting

The third Supervisory Board Meeting of the project S2S-Future “Signal Propagation in Source to Sink for the Future of Earth Resources and Energies” was held remotely on the 29th of October 2021. During the whole-day meeting, the members of the Supervisory board and the members of the External Advisory Group (EAG) discussed mainly the scientific aspects of the project. The supervisors of ESR projects presented the scientific and training progress of each ESR, as well as their Personal Training and Career Development Plans. After each presentation the audience could ask questions and provide feedback. 

The EAG has been recently established and consists of recognized S2S-experts, namely Anne Bernhardt (Freie Universität Berlin), Hielke Jelsma (Anglo American), Vivi Kathrine Pedersen (Aarhus University) and Alexander Densmore (Durham University).

S2S-FUTURE project gathers an outstanding European research and training network of 15 PhD students, hosted at world-leading academic institutions and industrial companies, whose aim is to develop the S2S paradigm as a powerful vector for understanding sedimentary accumulations as natural resources.

The project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 860383.
